Ballyportry Cottage is a farmhouse cottage in family ownership for a long time and next to a working farm in walking distance to the pubs and shops in Corofin Village, the gateway to the Burren region. Located in a dramatic landscape next to the Burren mountains and close to a number of lakes many activities are possible here. The house has recently been renovated and refurbished including modern wooden country style furniture, central heating and a large kitchen. 5 people can be accommodated comfortably in the three bedrooms.

Lough Key marina is located beside the complex. Set in 10 acres of natural habitat the marina is surrounded by woodland, reeds and natural countryside. Visitors can enjoy boat trips on the lake exploring the shoreline and taking in its many islands. There are numerous walks and nature trails affording lovely views within the forest park and motor boat hire and water skiing are available locally (seasonal). The Moorings pub and restaurant is also located onsite and is renowned for its fine food and regular music sessions.
