Flahertys Apartments Self Catering is a recently restored family building. The pain-staking restoration process has resulted in superb modern apartments. The original stone and sash windows make it an attractive focal point in the village. Maintaining the old characteristics of the building and at the same time offering the guest modern, comfortable facilities were maintained throughout.
Getting married? Get ready for your big day in the most relaxed way just like being at home. The church is located only 100 yards away, you can see the guests arrive as you get ready and then why not have a horse drawn carriage waiting outside to take you to the door?

Bedrooms: This beautifully decorated apartment has 2 bedrooms. All have en-suites, shower wash/basin and w.c. One of the rooms are double en-suite, the second room has a double bed and a single bed with an en-suite.
Located at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountain, Kinnity is in the heart of the Irish Midlands and within easy reach of the major towns – Birr, Roscrea and Tullamore. It is also adjacent to Kinnity Castle – the ancient seat of the O’Carrolls of Ely. This area has lots to offer the visitor, walks in natural river and forest surroundings. The Silver River nature trail, Cadamstown, is a geological reserve and an area of great beauty. There are guided tours through the Slieve Blooms to visit many ruined castles, monasteries and places of archaeological interest. Kinnity Village is an idea touring base for the surrounding areas.
The surrounding area is famous for its walking trails that surround the area. Why not take a brisk stroll to relax, or for the more adventurous, an adventurous walk will be sure to please, with it’s marvelous vistas.
