Erne River Lodge is a Scandinavian style lodge on the banks of the river Erne. Two bedroom two bathroom (each with electric shower). Sleeps up to seven people comfortably (double sofa bed in lounge). The lodge has a large open plan living/kitchen dining area and comes equipped with all mod cons. Cable TV, DVD player.

Erne River Lodge have three balconies (two covered). The lodge comes with direct access to the river Erne for fishing, watersport and swimming. Golfers can enjoy nearby Belturbet golf course (2km) or the Slieve Russell hotel championship golf course (8km). There is also horse riding and trail walking close by.

Cavan town is about 10 minute drive from Erne River Lodge and Enniskillen is about 30 mins drive. The town of Belturbet (2km) offers a range of traditional pubs and nightly entertainment plus good restaurants. Belturbet is just over 1 and half hours drive from Dublin and is home to emerald star cruise line.

Belturbet location is at one of the best places for crossing the River Erne. The town retains much of its original lay-out. The main street leads to the square or ‘diamond’ where all of the town’s important buildings are situated. Belturbet is now a thriving angling town with a marina. It is now an established base for cruiser hire also. The Railway Station, which was recently restored in Belturbet, is now home to a new Railway Visitor Centre. It tells the history of Belturbet Railway which was built in 1885. It houses an interesting collection of railway memorabilia.
