Only eco-friendly technology, materials and power sources have been used in the renovation and furnishing of this old stone cottage. The power supply for lighting, cooking, and heating comes from a small water driven electrice turbine (1.4kw) and a wood burning stove adds to the snug atmosphere. The walls are insulated with a hemp and lime mixture, local sheep’s wool insulates the roof. The EcoBooley is situated on a working Dairy farm.
