Rose holiday cottages are located on a family farm which enjoys a rural tranquil setting overlooking Gearagh Wildlife Reserve in the Lee Valley. Located midway between Cork City and Killarney, it is an ideal base from which to explore the South West of Ireland. Local attraction attractions include the World famous Gougane Bara, Kinsale, Ring of Kerry and Clonakility.

Located a mile and a half outside Macroom, which is a busy town featuring a colourful town centre, 18 hole golf course, historic castle and scenic walks, lively pubs and restaurants. This cottage is well decorated with and consists of electric cooker, kettle, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing/drying facilities, TV, bed linen and towels.

The cottages can accommodate four people and consists of two comfortable bedrooms. The bedrooms consist of a double bed in each. Bed linen and towels are provided free and the rooms are heated with oil fired central heating.

A pretty garden is available for guests use. The property is ideal for families as it is family friendly and a cot is available on request. The children are sure to enjoy the excitment of the working farm. A laundry service is available for your convenience.

The Yellow Shell holiday cottage offers oil fired central heating, 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people, two bathrooms, a fine kitchen with all the modern conveniences, and tiled sitting room. The original doors and wooden floors give the bedrooms a lovely warm feel. A dryer and washing machine have been installed in the solid shed outside.

The cottage has been totally modernized and extended since the days when a local farmer grew fruit and vegetables in the field and hung a big plaster shell – painted yellow – over the front door. Now its a really wonderful spot to base any Irish vacation.

The McGuire family (somestimes pronounced Maguires) invite you and your family to enjoy a carefree, relaxing self catering holiday in their traditional style Irish Cottages nestled at the foot of Silabh-an-Iarainn, in Co Leitrim, Ireland and set in the most picturesque, unspoilt region of the North West Ireland. Their family accomodation was established in the early 1970’s by Moira and the late James McGuire and was one of the first ever self catering accomodation business set up in Ireland.

All of our accomodation is designed to cater for all tourist requirements. There are 7 self catering cottages which are walking distance from the village of Drumshanbo overlooking Acres Lake.

The self catering cottages overlook the picturesque Acres Lake, approximately one km from the village of Drumshanbo in Leitrim, the North West of Ireland. There are seven cottages; four which sleep six people and three which sleep four people.

These cottages are detached and traditional in style, with the historic half-door, open-hearth fire and flag-stone floor. In contrast to this taste of the past, each has all the modern conveniences of present-day living.

Other facilities on site include a fisherman’s bait rooms and briefing facilities

With our family residence adjacent to the cottages we are always ready to meet your day to day needs A new cottages just 500mtrs away is also available for rent. The new cottage is situated closer to the town and the public swimming pool.

Drumshanbo is beautifully situated in the heart of Lovely Leitrim (Ireland). Slieve Anierin towers to the East with the Blue Arigna Mountains to the West and between them Lough Allen. Drumshanbo town is surrounded by scenic woodland on the south shore of Lough Allen, which is one of the major course fishing centres in the country. It is easily accessible by rail, road or river, just two hours from Dublin and 12Km from Carrick-on-Shannon. With a population of approx. 850; Drumshanbo provides a friendly atmosphere for the visitor and there is an abundance of good pubs, restaurants and shops.

Tieve Baun holiday cottage is a traditional style cottage set at the foot of the Tieve Baun mountain. This traditional Irish cottage nestled into the dramatic landscape of North Sligo has been completely modernised to provide comfort and convenience without losing the unique atmosphere of an Irish home.

In the kitchen you will find all the appliances you would expect in such a quality accomodation. The cottage sleeps up to six people and all three bedrooms are decorated to the highest standard, on of which is en-suite. The living roon was designed with warmth and comfort in mind with TV and Video facilities. Also, in this room, you can see some of the original stone work along with wooden floors to reflect the wonderful charcter of the house.
The whole cottage is wheelchair accessible with an enclosed garden and off street parking. Guide Dogs welcome inside.
