There are numerous walks and nature trails affording lovely views within the forest park and motor boat hire and water skiing are available locally (seasonal). The Moorings pub and restaurant is also located onsite and is renowned for its fine food and regular music sessions.

Tarbert Ferry is 10km from the cottage. Why not take the ferry into Tarbert, and tour Kerry.
