Lurgan House Self Catering accommodation is ideally situated to enable you to get the most from your visit to the Westport area. Whether you are a water sports enthusiast, mountain climber, or whether it is fishing , cycling, horseriding, golf, walking, sailing, skateboarding or heritage and culture or visiting the many wonderful sites all within a short drive from Westport that brings you here, our self catering accommodation is the ideal place to stay.
On arrival you will be welcomed by Christine, the owner who runs her award winning bed and breakfast accommodation next door. Christina will have a welcome pack in your accommodation, consisting of home baking, (scones and jam), fruit basket, milk, tea and coffee so you can relax as you unpack.
Lurgan House Self Catering Accommodation is a three bedroomed house located within walking distance of Westport Town and harbour. It is a stones throw from the newly developed Westport Greenway and Skatepark.
Accommodation is arranged to sleep six people as follows: Bedroom 1 (Ground Floor): Double and single bed , ensuite. Bedroom 2 (First Floor); Double and single bed. Bedroom 3 (First Floor); two single beds. Bedroom 2 and 3 share shower room, also located on first floor.

- Climbing the pilgrim path to the summit of Croagh Patrick.
- You can take long walks or cycling throughout the countryside: The Western Way South ends in Westport and there are many coast and forest trails close by.
- Angling and fishing: Mayo boasts some of the best Salmon & Trout fishing in Europe. The Belclare river nearby offers great rod fishing. Deep sea angling boats leave from Westport Harbour.
- Surfing and windsurfing are 20 minutes away on beautiful blue flag beaches. The famous Glenans sailing center is a 10 minute drive.
- In Westport there are 4 swimming pools and leisure centers.
- Equistrian: There are 2 good horse riding stables are close by.
- Golf: There are numerous 18 hole, 9 hole and par 3 courses in the area.
