A spiral staircase leads to a spacious upstairs balcony with ocean views. Separate lounge with TV and gas coal effect fire.

The cottage overlooks the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay. 3km from Lisdoonvarna, the famous spa town .5km from Doolin, home of traditional music and good restaurants.

Ideal base for touring the Burren region, which is a haven for botanists, archaeologists, rock climbers and cavers. Beautiful scenic walks in the surrounding area, which is adjacent to the Burren Way walk.

Convenient to Lahinch with its blue flag beach, championship golf course and indoor leisure pool and aquarium.

The shortest ferry crossing to the Aran Islands runs from Doolin a number of times daily.

• Doolin Cave: Doolin Cave was opened to the public in 2006 as a show cave.
• Poulnabrone Dolmon: Poll na mBron in Irish meaning 'hole of sorrows', is a portal tomb in the Burren.
• Mountain View Horse Riding: Located just outside the town of Lisdoonvarna.
