Teach Altra is an old stone house recently restored and extended. The accommodation is a four star Bord Failte Approved house.

There is two en suite bedrooms and can accommodate a pary of four people.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences and the living room has an open fire and television.

Teach Altra has panoramic views of the McGillycuddy Reeks and highlands of Glencar.

Glencar is famous for its rough shooting Woodcock, Snipe, Pheasant, Duck and Hare from November to January. Deerstalking is also available from September.

We accommodate many hunters each year and would be more than happy to reserve this activity for you.
