Dun an Oir is a beautiful holiday cottage overlooking a golden sandy beach on Ferriters Cove on the South Western tip of Ireland.

This brand new self catering cottage is set among a small cluster of holiday cottages with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Blasket Islands. Irelands second highest mountain, Mount Brandon provides the majestic backdrop and the sweeping Dingle Golf Links course is within walking distance of the house.

The 2 bedroomed cottage sleeps 7 people comfortably and is finished to a high standard. The ground floor is open plan with plenty of space. The views from the house are spectacular and it is only a few steps to the beautiful beach. The views from the cottages take in the Blasket Islands, Mount Brandon, Mount Eagle and the three peaks known as the Three Sisters.

Dun an Oir is a place where the native Irish language is the first language and where old traditions have been preserved for thousands of years. The peninsula occupies a remote but very special and historic corner of Kerry. Visitors are amazed when they discover Sybil Head, Brandon Mountain, The Blasket Islands, Slea Head, and the Pilgrims Way to name but a few.

The area has much to offer the visitor including excellent fishing, hill walking, water sports, pony treking, traditional Irish pubs, fine restaurants and of course golf at the Cheann Sibeal Golf Course. It is one of just 150 links golf courses around the world. Each hole on this glorious links is carved from the natural landscape of one of the most unspoiled parts of Europe.

The village of Ballyferriter is only 6 minutes away. It is the only substantial village west of Dingle town with shops, a museum, a bookshop, a cafe, three pubs and a hotel.

Accommodation includes: 2 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 7 people. The Master Bedroom has a large Double Bed and Sofa bed (Futon), Eskimo Pine Flooring finish and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has Twin Beds and Sofa bed (Futon), Tiled Floor. Additional Sofa bed downstairs.
