Carraig Gorm | Description

Carraig Gorm is situated on a hill overlooking Donegal Bay. It is 5 miles south of Donegal Town and 2.5 miles from Murvagh beach and golf club. It is within easy reach of opportunities for surfing, fishing, hiking, cycling, touring and watching birds, seals etc.

Beaches around Donegal Bay are large and empty, ideal for beach sports. There are pubs, restaurants and supermarkets within a mile radius and more in Donegal Town where there is also Donegal Castle, Waterbus tours around the bay, shops and nightlife.

This modern self-catering accommodation sleeps 2-5 people in a self-contained apartment in a family home. The front door opens onto a spacious entrance hall, which leads to the separate living room with an open fireplace (wood provided) and patio doors facing west to the sea. The large open-plan dining-kitchen with wood-burning stove has double doors leading to the south-facing terrace.

The house has oil-fired central heating throughout with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and larder fridge. It leads to a utility with washing machine, freezer and separate sink.

On the ground floor, one double bedroom has a shower room attached. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a separate bathroom. Towels and sheets provided. WIFI available.

Prices quoted are for 3 - 5 persons. Special rates are available all year round for two people who only use the ground floor.

Deposit of 100 euro secures booking. Payment of full rate after 24 hrs.

Deposit is returned on departure if everything is as found, less cleaning fee (if cleaning is required) of 40 euro.
